After Pilate delivered Jesus to be crucified he was led to Golgotha where He would be crucified between two malefactors. While on the cross Jesus spoke seven signifi- cant sayings. The last words were: “Father, into Thy hands I commend My spirit.” And He gave up the ghost. So Jesus gave His life.
